A tiger's tongue is so rough or rough that it can easily lick off the flesh attached to any bone. A tiger's tongue has sharp and small spine-like ridges called papillae. Tigers have these tiny, hard, hook-like papillae all over the tongue, not just the tip of the tongue.
A tiger's tongue can be about 7-9 inches long. Due to the papillae in it, the whole tongue seems to be hairy. These papillae make the tiger's tongue so rough and crunchy that if a tiger licks a human's skin a few times, the skin will bleed. They also help the tiger to tear the flesh of its prey and remove the feathers, if any, from the prey's body.
Interestingly, this tongue also acts as a comb. With this they carefully comb the fur themselves. The tongue acts as a comb on itself as gently as it strikes the victim with it. Moreover, tiger saliva is considered antiseptic. Tiger saliva contains antiseptic saliva. Perhaps this is a good trait of tigers. But the tiger's roar comes out through this tongue. A tiger's roar is almost equivalent to thunder. A few roars of the tiger are enough to render the victim temporarily numb and ineffective. These big cats have a sort of 'vocal fold' under the vocal folds or vocal cords. The vibrational sound of these vocal folds is mainly responsible for the tiger's thunderous roar.
Tigers mainly make two types of roars. One type of roar is heard by humans, the other is not. Low-level and low-frequency hums are usually inaudible to humans. And such roars can travel long distances, penetrating buildings, dense forests, mountains, and even bones. As the roar travels through the victim's body, it creates a kind of frost or chill that can freeze or numb the victim. And that's exactly how the tiger uses its short, high-pitched roar to paralyze its prey.
